Je me presente...

As far as blogging goes, I've had my fair share of attempts. During my gap year between high school and college I did write a blog, and kept up with it on a regular basis but, alas, I became busy (and maybe a little lazy.) Although there have been plenty of ideas for new blogs between then and now, it’s taken me this long to sit down and put it together.

Seeing as it is well into a new year, I’m older and therefore (hopefully) wiser. I figured now would be a great time to actually try again. After all, I have way too much to say and I’m sure the same few people are tired of hearing me talk.

So, without further ado, I’m going to introduce myself, and explain what I plan to do with the internet as my outlet.

My name is Lauren and I moved far from my family out west in the States to Toronto, Canada to study Fashion Arts at college about two years ago. I absolutely loved it and became fully immersed in the fashion world, but two years flew by and everything came to an end. Then, recently, I've decided that it’d be a good idea to do something with all the tidbits about fashion, beauty, and life that I've picked up.

I adore styling people. Take me shopping, allow me to dress you up, and I’ll be happier than a clam (and you’ll be looking so well put together!) Styling is the main thing I want to do for this blog because it’s what’s always interested me, even prior to fashion school. I've also had a couple fashion internships that have involved quite a bit of social media and blogging. I've also done PR work for my college’s fashion show. Using the tools I've learned, I’m hoping to share my experiences, thoughts, and ideas relating to fashion.

With styling, as with anything creative, inspiration always has to come from somewhere. Whether it be fashion, beauty, or lifestyle related,  I’ll try my best to share these experiences with you .
My goal is to write weekly blog posts filled with fashion tidbits for anyone who is interested in what I have to say.
Here’s to plenty of conversations to come!

 Lauren
